Thunderstorms on Easter... ? or !

With an upper level storm system and a disturbance, combined with a lot of moist, unstable air will bring us some thundershowers on sunday and maybe even into Monday, if weather conditions persist... go get excited, and make sure your rain gauges are working and clean, if you have one. and dont wash your car...

Also the NWS El Paso office released this of what could happen during these thunderstorms, well here they are
  • Street flooding
  • Arroyos and streams overflowing, flooding some streets and possibly buildings
  • Low Visibility
  • Heavy Rain
  • High winds
  • Hail (isolated locations).

Luckly there is now watches and warnings posted at this time, but watch out there could be, and I will post them on the Facebook Page as soon as i get them if there are any.

our chance of rain right now is 20 to 30% but I think it will go up as we get closer to tomorow and sunday, so keep your eyes peeled

Weekly Forecast 4/1/2012

To best describe this week ahead is windy, then cooler, then warmer.

From this weeks 7day we are going to see some dust today and into Monday, but I think most of the high winds and dust are going to happen on Monday. But with that wind we are going to see cooler temperatures on Monday and Tuesday, maybe even into Wendsday. then the rest of the week will be in the upper 80s and sunny. so im not excited for the rest of the week... well it is getting towards summer so. Im out of luck

Red Flag Warning
The National Weather service Midland forecast office released this photo on Sunday to show the area of the red flag warning and sadly it is in our area, so when you are outside, please no burning tomorrow, Tuesday will be a much better day for that type of activity.

also there will be high winds with this fire danger, but those two things go together, around here in the spring time anyway.

Been looking at the models and there could be a storm on the horizon early next week, but as of now its not so promising.

Thanks and Have a good day, everyone.
